Radical Responsibility

Responsibility vs Blame, Shame & Guilt

Modern culture teaches you that responsibility is a burden you should carry in order to be well adjusted and perceived as some kind of ‘good’ person in society. However when responsibility is defined by someone else other than you for morality, it becomes a heavy burden. It becomes a source of blame, shame, and guilt, when you do not meet that imposed definition of Responsibility. To respond to this heavy burdensome association, many people say that Responsibility is your ability to respond. But more often than not, a human being’s response is reactive rather than conscious. In Possibility Management, Responsibility is simply the capacity to create conscious results.

Your capacity to create conscious results comes from how much Consciousness you have. Consciousness is not a mental exercise of analytically understanding something, but a complete and direct physical, emotional, intellectual, energetic, and archetypal experience. Consciousness therefore implies that what you experience impacts you, and that you feel fully its impact.

Feeling the full impact of what you participate in, what you cause to happen, what you allow to happen around you provides you with the necessary motivation and clarity to consciously engage in what you participate in, cause, or allow to happen. When you actively engage in, cause, or allow to happen, you take responsibility. Therefore Responsibility is Consciousness in Action.

Radical Responsibility — A New Context for Empowerment

Another way to see Radical Responsibility is to see it as Radical Empowerment. Then Radical Responsibility is the unreasonable Declaration of being the cause of everything, meaning that radical responsibility gives you maximum of empowerment to be the cause of everything.

If you take Radical Responsibility, then you are suddenly far beyond the influence of circumstances, excuses, reasons, logic, traumas, or your Psychology. Everything that happens starts as absolutely neutral, without any story attached, without any meaning. If there is meaning or a Story, you created it for a Purpose that is either Responsible or Irresponsible. There is no such thing as a problem because it was nothing until you named it 'a problem'.

This new relationship to responsibility creates a unique context from which to operate. Suddenly you start from maximum empowerment for yourself and everyone around you. The results are astounding and fiercely unleashing human potential.

To Possibilitators, Radical Responsibility is the practical manifestation of Archetypal Love.
